Increase awareness, gain leads (and sales!) with the help of OVH

If you want to target riders in the Ottawa Valley community, Ottawa Valley Hunt (OVH) has a wide reach. In addition to our internal communications, our digital newsletter is sent to 1,200+ past OVH event (hunter pace, etc.) attendees. Our Facebook page currently has 3,200+ followers while our Instagram has 800+ followers. Our boosted event posts reach thousands of riders in the region. Our hunter pace events gather 70- 110 riders and dozens of helpers on the day of the event.

Advertising

OVH's digital newsletter goes out to 1,200+ past OVH event (hunter pace, etc.) attendees. It is published about once a month with the preliminary remaining 2026 dates (subject to changes) including:

  • May 11
  • June 8
  • June 22
  • July 27
  • August 21
  • September 7
  • September 18 
  • October 5 

Material is required a minimum two days prior.

Cost for a one-time placement of a banner ad:

  • $100 for non-members
  • $50 for OVH members (not applicable to Public Events Membership)

Our resource can assist with the development of the ad for $100 payable to the club.

Payment required before the ad will appear.

Treasure pace (May 24) sponsorship
  • 750 x max. 400 pixels banner ad in MailChimp newsletter going out to 1,200+ past OVH event (hunter pace, etc.) attendees
    • Our resource can assist with the development of the ad for $100 payable to the club
    • Material is due by May 9 for Treasure pace and by Aug. 25 for the hunter trials
  • Treasure pace “sponsored by xxx” on the applicable webpage, possibility for an image and max. one paragraph (100 - 200 words) description with links lower on the page
  • Inclusion in the “Registration is now open” message published on Facebook (3,200 followers) and Instagram (nearly 800 followers) which is also re-posted to local Facebook riding groups and boosted in Facebook to riders within 50 miles from Carleton Place
  • Inclusion in the early bird registration ending reminder FB/Insta post
  • Sponsor mentioned in the registration form
  • Possibility to ask if the registrants want to receive messages from the sponsor (in which case we will provide a list of names and email addresses)
  • Sponsor mentioned in the registration confirmation email
  • Sponsor can have a letter-sized “This event is sponsored by” logo display at the secretary’s desk at the event
  • Possibility to set up a sponsor table with samples and materials next to the secretary’s desk (must provide own tent/cover)
  • For Treasure pace: Potential to have one clue and treasure location tailored to the sponsor
  • Inclusion in the results post
  • Inclusion in the photos post (if an OVH member takes photos, not if there is an external photographer)
  • Sponsor mentioned in the next MailChimp newsletter about the results
Hunter pace sponsorship July 5 (SOLD), Sept. 20 and Oct. 18
Cost for each event sponsorship: $500 for non-members, $375 for members (not applicable to Public Events Membership).

Deliverables:
  • 750 x max. 400 pixel banner ad in a MailChimp newsletter going out to 1,200+ past OVH event (hunter pace, etc.) attendees
    • Our resource can assist with the development of the ad for $100 payable to the club
    • Material is due by June 20 for the July 5 hunter pace, Sept. 5 for the Sept. 20 hunter pace and Oct. 3 for the Oct. 18 hunter pace
  • Hunter pace “sponsored by xxx” on the applicable webpage, possibility for an image and one-paragraph (100 - 200 words) description with links lower on the page

Hunter Trials (Aug. 16) class sponsorship
OVH hunter trials take place Aug. 16. Each of the classes (leadline, flat x 2, handy, jump x 3) can be sponsored.

Cost per class sponsorship: $200 for non-members, $150 for members (not applicable to Public Events Membership)

Deliverables:
  • Sponsor names will be added to the event page
  • Sponsor names will be added to the results page
  • Sponsor names will be announced at the show
  • Sponsor names will be included in the results social media post.
